Rud Éigin Ann (Something There)
Mixed Media/Audio
Rud Éigin Ann (Something There) is an invitation to pause within that in-between space—where perception and imagination begin to blur. Inspired by the idea that there may be something just beyond our awareness, the work explores the tension between presence and illusion, concealment and revelation. The act of opening the shutter becomes part of the experience, asking the viewer not just to observe, but to participate in the moment of discovery.
Influenced by folkloric traditions and the enduring human desire to believe in something unseen, this piece does not seek to define what is real. Instead, it asks a quieter question:
What if there is something there—waiting to be noticed?
